Hear My Voice!

Kol Nashim’s “Hear My Voice: Concerts Benefitting Battered Women and Children” has embraced  issues surrounding victims of domestic violence. Its women’s voices sing out to raise awareness and funds for those affected both locally and in Israel.

Hear My Voice is comprised of two separate programs:

  • Sing out for SafeHouse!: Benefitting SafeHouse Denver, Inc. SafeHouse Denver serves over 10,000 people in the greater Denver metro area, through its emergency hotline,  non-resident counseling, and its residential facility – the only one in the area specifically for victims of domestic violence.

  • Woman to Woman: Benefitting the Jerusalem Shelter for Battered Women. The Jerusalem Shelter provides a home to battered women and children from all walks of Israeli life. At the main residential facility it provides a safe place, with social services and a unique children’s center. The shelter also runs 12 half-way apartments for women who are on the path towards independent living.
