Highlights of the 2005-2006 Season

Simchu Na!

Highlights of the Colorado Hebrew Chorales 2005-6 season included Simchu Na! A Leonard Bernstein Celebration, together with the Boulder Chorale (Nov. 12-13, 2005) , an evening with Kol Echad, Boston Universitys Jewish a cappella choir (March 6, 2006), and Voices of the Holocaust, the Holocaust Remembrance program of the Hebrew Educational Alliance (April 25, 2006). Other offerings of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale in greater Denver, for both the Jewish community as well as the general population, were the annual evening of Hebrew round-singing in the Sukkah (October 20, 2005), the Interfaith Musical Evening of Thanksgiving (November 23, 2005), and the Just in time for Chanukah! performance at Shalom Park, which marked the 14th visit of the Colorado Hebrew Chorale to this senior residence facility (December 18, 2005).

Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Colorado Hebrew Chorale takes pride in having integrated the magic of the cinema with the uniqueness of its music through its presentation of Israeli films, and in launching its Music, Movies, and Memories program. Over the years, the Colorado Hebrew Chorale has produced or co-produced Out For Love&Be Back Shortly, Kazablan, and the American classic, Cast A Giant Shadow, featuring mini-concerts before the screenings, and discussions of the films afterwards. During 2006-7, the Chorale looks forward to new and encore renditions of Music, Movies, and Memories.
