Guest Artist Cantor Asa Fradkin

A crowd favorite from Raisins & Almonds 2018, Cantor Asa Fradkin will be joining us again in 2019. In addition to performing with the choirs as part of the concert, Cantor Fradkin will present a SPECIAL performance during dinner.

Cantor Asa Fradkin graduated from the H.L. Miller Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary in May 2007, and since 2017 has served as the Cantor of Beth El Congregation in Bethesda, MD since 2017. He holds an undergraduate degree in vocal studies from Indiana University’s School of Music.

As a Bass-Baritone, Cantor Fradkin is a sought-after performer and lecturer on the subject of teen choirs, as well as an interpreter of Operatic Arias. He has been a featured performer with Gateway Classical Music Society, under the direction of Ida Angland, and was a graduate fellow in the Cooperative Program 2016, where he studied with the the finest coaches in the industry, including Joan Dornneman, Laura Brooks Rice and Stephanie Sundine.
