Travis S. Yamamoto

Pianist

 Travis S. Yamamoto has worked as a pianist and/or musical director for the Lone Tree Arts Center, Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, The Denver Civic Theatre, The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (Garner Galleria), Miners’ Alley Playhouse, The Evergreen Players, Vintage Theatre, Colorado Hebrew Chorale, Central City Opera’s touring artists and has also regularly engaged in the performance vocal and instrumental chamber music. He has won awards in composition from The National Conference on Piano Pedagogy and the ASCAP Standard Awards Panel. Travis holds degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder and the University of Southern California (with honors). He currently teaches at the University of Colorado, Denver, and in his spare time enjoys playing the harpsichord, clavichord, and gramophone.
