Travis S. Yamamoto

Pianist

Travis S. Yamamoto has worked as a pianist and/or musical director for Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, the Denver Civic Theatre, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Miners’ Alley Playhouse, the Evergreen Players and the Colorado Hebrew Chorale. Mr. Yamamoto is also active as a free-lance pianist and harpsichordist in vocal and instrumental chamber music, and has won awards in composition from The National Conference on Piano Pedagogy and the ASCAP Standard Awards Panel. Mr. Yamamoto holds degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder and the University of Southern California, and is currently a lecturer in music for the College of Arts and Media at the University of Colorado, Denver and is a member of Early Music Colorado, the Antique Phonograph Society and The College Music Society.
